Nice hair
I've been Nick's hairdresser these past few months. He's given up going to a 'stylist' because he couldn't justify paying $45 every month. He was paying cheaper at another place, but thought he always looked the same as everyone else that got their hair cut from there, so he bought clippers, and asked me to do it. I didn't have too much of an issue with is since I used to cut hair (as a hobby) when I was younger. So, the 1st time was REALLY good. Beginners luck, I think. The 2nd time was good, but I didn't cut it short enough because I was a bit nervous. I just gave him another 'trim' last week and get this, he was complimented on it. Not just by anyone, but by an actual hair stylist!! She said it was really good! Thanks! I can't help but wonder if she was just trying to pick him up, tho'...?? Hmmm...he was working out at the time...oh well...it boosted my confidence either way...
My feet hurt.
I decided to wear these new shoes I bought while in Vegas to work today. All I can say is OUCH! I bought them 'cause they were very cute and summery. I didn't really walk around too much when trying them on, since they looked cute, but I guess I should have. It reminds me of that one episode from FRIENDS where Monica buys these boots and they hurt like hell, but she continues to wear them 'cause they looked nice...I'm having one of those moments right now. I feel blisters forming at the back of both feet, and on my middle toes...maybe I'm just bloated today...?
Sun Run
My sister asked me to do the Sun Run with her this year. She figured since she was turning 30, she should do something great. Like having a baby wasn't great enough...Anyway, of course, I agreed. It was different this time, tho' because she wanted to walk the whole thing, with kids in tow. So, ok. No problem. Nick'll be there anyway with his co-workers. We just need to borrow 2 jogger strollers then. It wasn't too bad except those 3 wheeler strollers are really hard to maneuver! I think I said sorry a gazillion times for rolling over peoples feet! Anyway, we managed to finish in under 2 hours.
