Lauryn's at home sick with a stomach bug. Poor thing. We took her to the doctor yesterday to get her checked out, and we had a big laugh towards the end of the visit. It went something like this...

Dr., "Well, it looks like it might have been something she ate."
Me, "Okay, what should we give her?"
Dr., "Gatorade is always best, small amounts at a time"
Lauryn, "Mommy, what's Gatorade?"
Me, "You know, that drink daddy always has. It's in the tall bottle, and you sip it from the top."
Lauryn, "Oh, BEER?!"

Needless to say, we all had a big laugh!!! Daddy included, who was, even under his handsomely dark skin, turned a bit red...TOO FUNNY!!!

The other day, she also said something that made me laugh. My sister has 2 dogs, Rosko and Devo. Lauryn decided she would call her stuffed doggy "RD", for Rosko-Devo, since I said she had to think of another name. She says, "My doggy's the best! He doesn't bark." I replied back with a "how come?" She answers, "because he has no batteries. But Rosko and Devo have batteries!"

Oh, the innocent mind. It's so cute!
