new provider
I SO want to change cell phone providers! I'm with Bell right now, and I HATE my cell! Not only have I dropped it a gagillion times, but it went missing a few days ago, found it, then lost it again...Nick found it in the garage. On the ground. All scratched up because I had run over it with the car...not once, but twice! I guess when we got home Halloween night, it fell out of my pocket while I was getting out of the car. He didn't see it till the evening of the following night. Oh well - it's crap anyway.
Bell really has all questions answered - and they suck you in so deep you can't get out. It's gonna cost me $299 to cancel my plan a year early. If I were to just upgrade my phone from a crappy one to a less crappy one (not much of a selection AT ALL), I have to sign on for an additional 2 years! What to do, what to do...
Which company are you all with and why? Reviews???
HELP!

i'm with fido. only b/c i signed on for that cityfido unlimited anytime minute plan for $40/month.
but when they get rid of this plan I plan to go to rogers. they always have a fairly decent phone selection and good prices on contracts.
telus always has the best phones and apparently their reception is the best! but...their plans are super expensive, so I had to get out of it.
I don't know much about it really. but a few of my friends had problems with bell too! sooo..maybe you should get out of it while you can. It's probably better to pay the $300 now and then go get a free nicer phone from somewhere else and sign on for a contract with the other guys.
oh man this is long

i'm with rogers - not b/c they have the best plan, but b/c i've always been with them and don't want to change my number! :)
maybe what you can do is check with rogers, telus, etc. to see if they have any promos to buy out your contract w/ bell. i remember them doing that in the past...
