Caw! Caw!!

There's something about being woken up by a bunch of crows talking to each other at 5am that isn't so great!!! That's what happened this morning, and I think every morning for the past little while. This morning seemed to be worse, tho'. It sounded like there were about a hundred of them all competing to see who has the louder voice! Ugh! It reminded me of the scene from "Failure to Launch", which is a great movie, by the way, where the friend wanted to shoot a mockingbird with a bb gun...

Lauryn's got some goin' on in her mouth now. She went for her 'procedure' last thursday to get 2 silver caps, 2 fillings, and 4 sealants. It was quite an experience. It was probably harder for us than it was for her. To make a long story short, she was put 'under' by gas - I had the duty of being in with her (I bawled my eyes out...), we waited outside, she went in to recovery, and went home. In between this - she had a breathing tube inserted down her throat and an IV drip in her little hand, which we did not see, thank GOD! Overall, it went really well, and her dentist is SO good!!! We love her! Lauryn loves her, too. The only think Lauryn had to say was, "Mommy, that man doctor was no good!" He was the one who put her to sleep with the gas. Glad to hear that's all she remembered out of the whole thing!
