creatures of habit

I was helping out at Lauryn's preschool and was talking to her teacher about how I noticed Lauryn was sitting in the same spot she did on the 1st day of school. She's almost claimed it. Her teacher was saying that kids are a creature of habit - they like things to be the same...she was also saying that she always knows where to look when she does attendance because the kids are generally in the same spots...she mentioned that Lauryn reads the same books after snack, and hops from one station to another in the same order...funny...even tho' they sometimes fall out of their routine, they seem to find a way back to what they know and where they're comfy...

I guess this applies to adults, too...with my whole cell phone situation, after doing a lot of walking and talking, I ended up signing with the same company I did years ago, when I got my first wireless product...a pager!!! I'm basically back to square 1. I dunno - there are probably other products/plans out there for me, but I somehow ended up back with them.

So, say hello to my new little friend...in white...=) I'm tres excited about it!!! Eventho' I don't really know how to use ALL the features yet, I am very happy with it! It's so pretty! My mom was nice enough to take over my old phone, so I didn't have to pay $300... thanks mom!

Now, guess who wants to get a new phone, too...here's a hint, his name starts with an N, and ends with an ICK!!!
